Naked Hoops is part of Hoopswhirled
which is owned and run by Diana Defries.
Hoopswhirled has been teaching hoop classes and selling hoops since January
2007.
We are proud of our contribution to hooping in the UK. Many who have taken classes
with Hoopswhirled have gone on to teach in their own right, which is very exciting.
You can hula hoop (almost) anywhere... It is a fun and inexpensive way to exercise.
While Hoopswhirled sells ready-made hoops, we realised that many people would
like to design and tape their own hoop. It can be very satisfying using something
you have decorated yourself.
Since it isn't cost-effective to buy 25m+ of tubing in order to make one hoop,
Naked Hoops offers a quick and easy way to order a ready-to-tape
hoop (please note we do not sell tape - see our links
page for suggested retailers).
Since we know the pitfalls and difficulties of taping a hoop, we will send you
instructions and suggestions. Our links
page provides a range of resources that will help you make a hoop you will
want to pick up again and again.
Hoop taping, much like hooping, is a learned skill, so enjoy the process, be
creative and have fun along the way.
